HAYS, KS -- Fall Tiger Day and Tiger Friends and Family Day are both scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, on the Fort Hays State University campus.
Activities for Tiger Friends and Family Day are geared toward current students, their friends and families, and will include residence hall open houses, academic department open houses (which provide parents and students with the opportunity to speak with faculty members), a tailgate barbeque and the FHSU vs. University of Nebraska-Kearney football game.
Tiger Day, not to be confused with Tiger Friends and Family Day, is for prospective students and their families, providing an opportunity for them to take a closer look at Fort Hays State University.
The schedule for Tiger Day will include registration and an extracurricular fair, a welcome session, a student discussion panel, scheduled time for departments to showcase their area, an academic and athletic fair, campus tours, and the Tiger football game.
