FHSU graduate student Jayson Taylor featured in two Florida exhibits

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Jayson Taylor, Hays ceramics and sculpture graduate student, has pieces on display at the University of Southern Florida in Tampa and the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, FL.

The juried exhibition "Sentiment and Sentimentality" in Tampa is an intercollegiate event showcasing the talent of graduate students from across the United States. Taylor's mixed media wall sculpture "A Few Captured Japs" is on display through Oct. 19.

Another of Taylor's pieces is on display in The Robert and Mary Montgomery Armory Art Center's Competition "Figurative Works 01" in West Palm Beach. His contribution, titled "Contents," will be on display through Oct. 13.
