FHSU's Dr. Tom Guss published

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Dr. Tom Guss, professor of educational administration and counseling, and two FHSU graduates recently published a scholarly article in the ERIC/CASS Counseling and Student Services Clearinghouse.

FHSU graduates Steven Nordby, Elkhart, and Lyndel Adams, Russell, contributed to "Career Development of Elementary School Students in Western Kansas: Gender Stereotyping and Other Barriers to Achievement."

Nordby earned his B.S. in physical science in 1990 and his M.S. in counseling in 1997 from FHSU. He is currently a counselor for Elkhart Grade School and Elkhart Elementary School in Elkhart.

Adams earned her B.S. in elementary education in 1972 and her M.S. in counseling in 1991 from FHSU. She is currently employed as a counselor for Lucas-Luray USD 407.
