Stutz participates in Volunteer Medical Program of the United States Olympic Committee

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Mark Stutz, director of athletic training education, took the first step in becoming an athletic trainer for the Olympic Games.

Stutz participated in the Volunteer Medical Program of the United States Olympic Committee. He served as athletic trainer for the World University Men's Volleyball Team from July 9-24 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

The next step for Stutz is to be selected as an athletic trainer for a national or international competition such as United States Championships, Pan American Games or World University Games.
