FHSU's Gordon Sherman on exhibit

HAYS, KS -- Gordon Sherman, assistant professor of art at Fort Hays State University, has artwork on display in three separate exhibits.

His postcard-sized monotype "Iconography" will be on display at the Manhattan Arts Center in Manhattan, then will travel as part of the Kansas Postcard Series XXIV for a year.

Sherman's watercolor monotype "Transcendental Blurb -- Station" will be included in the Art from the Middle, Art from the Plains States exhibit at El Dorado Community College. This exhibit will be open from Oct. 4 through Nov. 2.

His oil-on-panel piece "Clean Hands -- The Wade" will be on exhibit at the Coutts Memorial Museum of Art in El Dorado, also from Oct. 4 to Nov. 2.
