HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Dr. Tom Schafer, assistant professor of geosciences, published a paper in a book titled "Fluid Arguments -- Five Centuries of Western War Conflict."

Schafer's paper, "Specialization and Diversification in the Agriculture System of Southwestern Kansas 1887-1980," appears as a chapter in the book, which was edited by Dr. Char Miller, Trinity University, and is available from the University of Arizona Press.
