Ganstrom published in ceramics magazine

HAYS, KS -- Linda Ganstrom, Fort Hays State University alumnus and associate professor of art at Fort Hays State University, recently published an article in Ceramics Monthly.

Ganstrom wrote the article about her most recent sculpture series, "Deeply Rooted." In the magazine she explains her figurative sculptures are based on experiences in the fertile prairies of the central United States. The sculptures are intended to evoke the spiritual connections between the land and those who cultivate it.

"I have endeavored to make sculptures that address the mysteries of life, that invite the viewer to examine him or herself without judgment in order to bring about greater self-awareness," said Ganstrom.
