FHSU's Lines announces editorial board

The editorial board for the 2000 edition of Fort Hays State University´┐Żs Lines: A Journal of the Arts has been selected. The editorial board staff is responsible for choosing a layout for the journal and reviewing and critiquing submissions. The editorial board works the entire spring semester on the journal, which goes to press in May. The finished product comes out in the summer. It is available to all FHSU students, faculty and staff free of charge.

Lines is composed of poetry, short stories, artwork and photographs. It is sponsored by the English Department, but non-English majors can submit entries as well as serve on the editorial board. Faculty and staff can submit, too. The members of the editorial board are listed below by hometown newspapers as listed by the students:

BISON: Joanna Elder, English freshman.
ELLIS: Calvin King, English senior; Elliott McClelland, English junior, assistant editor.
HAYS: Danielle Laux, modern language sophomore; Chris Vancil, history graduate student, assistant editor.
MARIENTHAL: Lexi Ridder, English senior, editor.
OAKLEY: Liza Johnson, English special student.
RANSOM: Rebecca Blocksome, art sophomore.
RILEY: Stephanie Allen, English senior.

Out of State
PALMYRA, PA: Todd Leahy, history graduate student.
