HAYS, KS --- Three Fort Hays State University faculty members have been published in a recent issue of the Economic Development Review, a national publication for economic developers and libraries.
"Economic Impact of a Rural Computer Services Center" was authored by three employees of the Docking Institute of Public Affairs at FHSU. Joe Aistrup, director of the Institute, Mark Bannister, chair of the Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications, and Preston Gilson, associate professor of economic and finance, all collaborated on this study.
The article was based on information gathered by the Docking Institute for the Kansas Department of Commerce and Housing. It analyzes the economic impact of Sykes Enterprises center on Hays, Ellis County and the state.
