Peterson publishes recent article

HAYS, KS -- Jane Peterson, assistant professor of nursing at Fort Hays State University, published an article in the 2001 issue of Geriatric Nursing.

Peterson's article is titled "Osteoporosis Overview."

Osteoporosis represents a major health problem, especially in older women. Peterson writes how nurses play an important role in helping older adults with this problem and discusses strategies for helping older adults with osteoporosis.
