HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Maggie Denning, coordinator of academic support services, and Dr. Thomas Guss, associate professor of educational administration and counseling, recently presented a paper at an annual conference.

Denning and Guss attended the annual conference of the Kansas Counseling Association, March 8-10 in Hutchinson. They presented a paper titled "Improving Standardized Test Scores: Building Skills While Establishing Accountability."

Guss also recently published a paper titled "Toward Individual and Family Well-Being: The Western Kansas Experience in Family Resource Development" through the ERIC/CASS Clearing House, Greensboro, NC.
