Sherman chosen to exhibit art

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Gordon Sherman, assistant professor of art, has been accepted into two exhibitions.

In the 32nd Annual Smoky Hill Exhibition, Sherman had two pieces accepted by juror Collin Asmus, faculty member at Millsap College and director of the Lewis Art Gallery in Jackson, MS. The Smoky Hill Exhibit will be at the Hays Arts Council and will run from April 27-May 25.

Sherman had one piece selected for the Art in the Woods Exhibit at Corporate Woods in Overland Park. His piece was selected by internationally recognized artist Bo Bartlett from Philadelphia, PA. The Art in the Woods Exhibit will open Friday, April 27, and close May 13.
