27th Annual High School Art Exhibition set for April 18 at FHSU's Gross Memorial Coliseum

HAYS, KS -- Artwork from about 1,500 students at 70 high schools will be on display Wednesday, April 18, at Fort Hays State University's Gross Memorial Coliseum for the university Art Department's 27th Annual High School Art Exhibition.

This year's judge is John C. Thorns Jr., professor emeritus of art and former chair of the Department of Art at FHSU.

Certificates of Recognition will be awarded to students whose works are judged outstanding by Thorns.

The public is invited to view the exhibit from 10 a.m. until noon.
