HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Hispanic American Leadership Organization is wrapping up the spring 2001 semester with two unique events.
Once again HALO will be selling homemade beef and cheese enchiladas at $12 per dozen. All orders need to be placed by May 1 by e-mailing the organization at HALO@fhsu.edu. Orders can be picked up in the basement of Agnew Hall on May 3 from 6-9 p.m.
HALO will be celebrating the traditional Spanish holiday Cinco de Mayo on May 4. A piņata breaking event, traditional Mexican folk dancers and Spanish music will highlight the fiesta. Activities will take place from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. in the quad on the FHSU campus.
