Biology masters from FHSU to reunite Saturday

HAYS, KS -- Masters of biology from Fort Hays State University are meeting for a reunion Saturday, April 21.

A full day of events has been planned, including guided tours of the Sternberg Museum of Natural History, Tomanek Hall and Albertson Hall, a social and banquet and a special book signing session by Drs. Gerald Tomanek '42, '47, former president of FHSU, Eugene Fleharty, Jerry Choate, Gary Hulett and Charles Ely.

More than 550 masters' graduates of FHSU biology programs have gone on to success and scientific fame in the United States and around the world.

The event opens with a reception and book signing at the Sternberg Museum from 2-4 p.m. Copies of Dr. Tomanek's book Beyond the Classroom: A Survey of Fort Hays State University Biology Graduates 1947-1972 will be available at $20 per copy.

A social begins at 6 p.m. in the Sunset Lounge of FHSU's Memorial Union, followed by a banquet at 7.
