HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Dr. Paul Adams, associate professor of physics, attended the National Science Teachers Association Conference in March of 2001 in St. Louis, MO.
At the conference, Adams co-presented a session with Dr. Maurice Witten, FHSU emeritus professor of physics. The session was titled "Running Aground: Navigation as a Means to Integrating Mathematics and Science Teaching."
Adams also attended the National Association for Research in Science Teaching Conference in March in St. Louis. He presented a paper titled "Changing the College Science Classroom Environment for the Preparation of K-8 Teachers."
