HAYS, KS --- Michael McLain recently became a full-time microcomputer support technician for Fort Hays State University's Computer and Telecommunication Center.

McLain earned his associate's degree in electronics in 1986 from Northeast Technical Community College in Norfolk, NE. He has since earned Compaq ACT certification and became an A+ certified technician.

From 1986 til now, McLain worked for Computerland, then SSI, then Nex-Tech. He worked at Cominico America Inc. and Gillette Dairy Inc., both in Norfolk, previous to his move to Hays.
