HAYS, KS -- Dr. Paul Adams, associate professor of physics for Fort Hays State University, was recently published in the February 2001 Journal of College Science Teaching.
Adams' article, titled "Action-Based Research Teams: Collaborating to Improve Science Education," was co-authored with Gerald Krockover, David Eichinger, Mary Nakhleh and Daniel Shepardson of Purdue University.
Action-based research teams are groups of professors who implement new teaching strategies in their classes and measure the result through comparative testing with a control group.
