10/01/1999

In order to expose students to the global marketplace through a series of ongoing visits to selected foreign countries, Fort Hays State University´┐Żs College of Business is offering a new class for the spring semester. The class, GBUS 573/773 Section C, is titled "The International Business Experience" and will take students to see international business first-hand.

The first series of trips will concentrate on the Pacific Rim countries, with the first trip planned for Bangkok, Thailand, from March 2 through March 12. All interested students should contact either Dr. Scott W. Hansen, associate professor of business administration, at 628-5873; or Dr. Dale McKemey, associate professor of business administration, at 628-5803 in the College of Business.

These international business experience trips will be open to both undergraduate and graduate students at FHSU on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested students should register as soon as possible because enrollment is planned to be capped at 24-26 students. Any excess capacity will be offered to the public.
