Bus tour planned to RMAC basketball tournament in Denver

HAYS, KS -- An exciting weekend filled with great Fort Hays State University basketball, camaraderie and fun is in store for several lucky Tiger fans from March 2-3.

The FHSU Alumni and Athletic associations, in conjunction with MooreTours International Inc. of Hays, are sponsoring a trip to the Rocky Mountain Athletic conference men's and women's basketball tournaments at Denver University's Hamilton Gymnasium, March 2 and 3.

A chartered bus will leave for Denver the morning of Friday, March 2, and return in the afternoon on Sunday, March 4.

Fans can join other FHSU alumni and friends on this fun-filled excursion as they travel to Denver and stay with the Tiger teams at the upscale Denver Marriott Tech Center for a weekend full of basketball.

For an added feature of rest and relaxation, on Saturday tourists also will be treated to a trip to Park Meadows Mall, a facility featuring 1,500,000 square feet of stores of every kind and a large food court.

Fans also will be treated to post-game events with the Tiger teams, alumni and friends on Friday and Saturday evenings, compliments of the Alumni and Athletic associations.

Price per person for quad occupancy is $109, per person triple occupancy is $129, per person double occupancy is $149 and per person single occupancy is $220.

Tour package includes round-trip bus tour from Hays to Denver, two night's hotel accommodations, all taxes, gratuities, entrance fees to games, post-game events and FHSU gifts.

Reservations are required and must be submitted, with payment, before Wednesday, Feb. 28. All reservations will be secured on a first-come, first-served basis.

The schedule is subject to change. The current schedule is conditional upon FHSU teams advancing to the semifinal and final rounds of the tournament.
