HAYS, KS -- Dr. Paul Adams, associate professor of physics at Fort Hays State University, presented at the NASA Opportunities for Visionary Academics Leadership Development Conference held from Jan. 9-11 in Washington, D.C.
Adams' presentation was on work that he performed in association with Dr. Germaine Taggart, assistant professor of teacher education, Dr. James Hohman, professor of chemistry, and Ervin Eltz, professor of mathematics and computer science.
They were awarded a $30,000 grant by NASA to improve the teaching of introductory science and mathematics courses taken by pre-service elementary teachers. |
