FHSU's SBDC to hold Customer Service Workshops

HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Small Business Development Center in conjunction with the Goodland and Russell Chambers of Commerce is offering two workshops on customer service in the upcoming week.

The first workshop, Excellent Customer Service, will be held from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Murray Center on the Northwest Kansas Technical College campus in Goodland.

The workshop was designed to help employers and employees appreciate the value of their customers and will cover topics including steps to quality customer relations, step-by-step guide to customer problem solving and telephone tips.

Registration fees are $25 for members and $30 for non-members. The deadline is Thursday, Sept. 12, but late registration will be available.

The second workshop, Customer Service for Employees, will take place from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Russell Chamber Board Room in Russell.

Topics covered in the workshop include customer service mission, benefits to customer satisfaction, three ways to make the customer right and keys to solving customer service problems.
