HAYS, KS -- Members of the Kansas Legislature and citizens from western Kansas will gather in Topeka on Jan. 24 for Fort Hays State University's annual breakfast to discuss issues that may affect the western part of the state.
The breakfast is scheduled for 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Room A of the Docking State Office Building Cafeteria.
Dr. Edward Hammond, FHSU president, and Debra Prideaux, FHSU's director of alumni and governmental relations, will be the hosts for the breakfast. Space is somewhat limited, so reservations are encouraged by sending e-mail to the FHSU Alumni Association at email@example.com or by calling (785) 628-4430.
The annual breakfast provides an excellent opportunity to discuss ways to support legislative efforts that impact FHSU, higher education in general, western Kansas and the state as a whole.
Reservations are due by Tuesday, Jan. 23.
