HAYS, KS --- Fort Hays State University's president and director of admissions will give a presentation in Hays on financing higher education, one on Monday, Nov. 27, and again on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
They will be joined by a university senior who will present "43 Ways to Save Money for College." Three cities, Hays, Kansas City and Wichita, will host this free seminar in an attempt to educate prospective post-secondary students in the complicated art of financing higher education.
President Edward H. Hammond and Director of Admissions Joey Linn will speak on affordable financing options. The guest speaker is Andy Keenan, Ness City senior.
Attendance is free but seating is limited so call and register soon. Registration will be handled by the FHSU Office of Admissions, 1-800-628-FHSU, option No. 1, or 785-628-5666.
The first of the two conferences in Hays will be at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, at Hays High School, 2300 E. 13th St. The second will be at 7:30 Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, 1701 Hall St.
