How to finance higher education on a budget for Kansas City

HAYS, KS --- Fort Hays State University's president and director of admissions will give a presentation in Kansas City on Monday, Dec. 4, on financing higher education.

They will be joined by FHSU graduate Tonja Vallin, academic affairs marketing specialist, who will present "43 Ways to Save Money for College." Three cities, Hays, Kansas City and Wichita, will host this free seminar in an attempt to educate prospective post-secondary students in the complicated art of financing higher education.

President Edward H. Hammond and Director of Admissions Joey Linn will speak on affordable financing options.

Attendance is free but seating is limited so call and register soon. Registration will be handled by the FHSU Office of Admissions, 1-800-628-FHSU, option No. 1, or 785-628-5666.

The conference will begin at 7 p.m. at the Marriott at Interstate-435 and Metcalf.
