HAYS, KS -- Fort Hays State University's Dr. Gavin Buffington, assistant professor of physics, and Jesse Shaver, Schoenchen senior and president of the Student Government Association, presented a paper at the 33rd Annual Symposium on Optical Materials for High Power Lasers.
The convention, held from Oct. 16-18 in Boulder, CO, at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, was an exchange of information on the evolving technology and physics of materials, high energy/high power lasers and related applications, said Buffington.
