FHSU nursing professor published in national monograph

HAYS, KS --- Fort Hays State University Associate Professor Dr. Janice Davidson is featured in The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties new monograph entitled Challenges and Opportunities for Integrating Community Health in Nurse Practitioner Programs.

Davidson, Department of Nursing, co-authored the article "Integrating 'Community as Partner' Across Population-Focused Advanced Practice Curricula." Davidson serves as the advanced practice nursing coordinator and is nationally certified as a family nurse practitioner.

Challenges and Opportunities will be distributed to all nurse practitioner faculties across the nation and features issues and strategies for integrating community health as well as descriptions of community health projects.
