03/27/2014

A crisis between the professional and personal life of a man who makes a living helping people break up, "Schlussmacher," translated as "Break Up Man," is the next movie in Fort Hays State University's German Film Series.

The film will show at 6 p.m. Monday, March 31, in Albertson Hall on the FHSU campus. The public is welcome. Attendance is free, and the film comes with English subtitles.

"Schlussmacher" is a romantic comedy featuring Paul Voigt, an employee at an agency that helps people break up. As a result, Paul has an unwavering aversion to commitment and romantic ideals. But when Toto, the boyfriend of a customer, enters Paul's professional life, Paul is forced to reconsider his personal stance on love and relationships.
