Students for Life to hold 2nd annual 5K Run/Walk

Fort Hays State University Students for Life will hold its second annual Light in the Dark 5K run and walk on Friday, Sept. 13. The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 30.

The run/walk will begin at 8:30 p.m., complete with glow-in-the dark T-shirts, necklaces and bracelets included in the $20 registration fee. The 5K route is entirely on campus and will start and end at the Memorial Union Patio.

This event is open to FHSU students, faculty, staff and members of the community. Proceeds will be used to educate students about pro-life issues and resources and to bring pro-life speakers to campus.

To register, purchase a T-shirt or support the event with a donation, download and complete the registration form at: http://tigerlink.fhsu.edu/organization/studentsforlife/DocumentLibrary or pick up a form at the CTC HelpDesk (Tomanek Hall, room 113) and return it along with payment to the Center for Student Involvement (Memorial Union, room 014) or to the CTC HelpDesk.
