Nature outing at Cedar Bluff

HAYS, KS -- Dr. Howard Reynolds, retired Fort Hays State University professor of botany, will lead a nature outing this Saturday at Cedar Bluff State Park for all who are interested.

Interested persons should meet at the State Park Office at 10 a.m. on Aug. 19 at Cedar Bluff's North Shore, Cove No. 1. Participants will need to purchase a day-use pass if they do not already have a season park permit.

The party will then convoy to the Nature Trail, where the journey will begin. Reynolds said he expects the tour to last until about noon
