INT majors receive recognition and pecuniary assistance from KAB

HAYS, KS --- Three students in Fort Hays State University's Department of Information Networking and Telecommunications were recognized with scholarships and an internship by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.

KAB's mission is to provide communication, lobbying, representation, recruiting, education and training for prospective and current Kansas broadcasters in an effort to enhance their success and help them better serve the people of Kansas.

Kevin Windholz, Quinter senior, and Penny Lamb, Wichita senior, 4860 N. Oliver, received scholarships for the 2000-2001 academic year for their work. This is Windholz's second consecutive year as a winner.

Amy Renner, Topeka junior, 5231 SW 31st Street, was awarded a paid summer internship for her work with KBSH-TV out of Hays.
