HAYS, KS - Four members of the Fort Hays State University nursing faculty made presentations at the 11th Annual Nurse Educators Conference in Breckenridge, CO, held from July 27-July 29.
Associate Professor Dianna Koerner and Assistant Professors Dr. Karolyn Kells, Billie Groth and Carolyn Insley all presented "First Day of Clinical -- Panic! How Can You Help?"
Kells and Koerner also presented "New Graduate Evaluation: Myth or Reality?"
Koerner presented a poster for the KNEP group in Kansas entitled "Can We Talk? Education and Practice Collaborate."
In addition, Kells and Koerner also presented a poster at Nursing Education 2000 from June 1-3 sponsored by Hahnemann University in Washington, D.C.
Kell's poster depicted the "Emotional Roller Coaster: A Grounded Theory of Student Nurses' First Clinical Experience."
The poster Koerner presented was on "Practice Expectations of Novice Nurses: Implications for Education and Practice." |
