Art professor and students accepted into national small prints exhibit

Works by two Fort Hays State University students and Gordon Sherman, professor of art and design, were recently accepted into the Creede National Small Prints Exhibit at the Creede Arts Council in Creede, Colo.

Two works by Angela Aeillo, Norton senior, and three by Trey Morgan, Haven graduate student, were accepted. One of Morgan's is being featured in a special traveling exhibit.

Sherman's piece was also awarded third place.

The national exhibit ran through June 28, and the traveling exhibit is touring Colorado through July.

Sherman was also accepted into the New York Society of Etchers national exhibition, which ran from June 5 to 17 at The National Arts Club in Gramercy Park in New York City.
