Art students exhibit pieces at Kansas Collegiate Aesthetics Exhibition

Several Students from Fort Hays State University's Department of Art and Design have 20 art pieces on display through June 27 at the Birger Sandzen Memorial Gallery in Lindsborg as a part of the 2010 Kansas Collegiate Aesthetics Exhibition.   

KCA is a competitive exhibition held every two years that is open to college and university students from the state of Kansas.  Three students were also honored with cash prizes.

ATCHISON: Meghan Boatright, junior, "Onion House," $100 the Undergraduate Merit Award.   
BENNETT, Colo.: Bill Tuttle, senior, "Zenith".
BURDEN: Jillian Tatum, senior, "Bowl with Balls".
GOODLAND: Adam Elliott, graduate student, "KYMC" and "Inside Out".
GRAND ISLAND, Neb.: Shane Scanton, junior, "Sterbug" and "Watering Hole".
HAVEN: Trey Morgan, "Chance of Showers," "Come Comet," "Yesterday Future," "Process of Decay #1".
IDALIA, Colo.: Reece Farness, senior, "Mother Superior" and "Burn," $100 Undergraduate Merit Award.
LINCOLN, Neb.: Josh Knott, graduate student, "Divine Child" and "The Elder," $100 Graduate Merit Award.
RAHWAY, N.J.: Casey Stueber, graduate student, "Secret Keeper".
TOPEKA, Angela Aeillo, junior, "Rot".
VANCOUVER, Canada: Bryan Gilligan, graduate student, "Sadness".
WICHITA, Josh Smith, graduate student, "Day 41".
