Frogapaloosa to return to Sternberg Museum

The All-Star Kansas Frog and Toad Choir will return for its third annual Frogapalooza concert on Saturday, May 8.  Frog and toad enthusiasts age 4 to 12 are invited to Fort Hays State University's Sternberg Museum for a meet-and-greet and a chance to sing along with some of nature's most famous musicians.

Children age 4 or in kindergarten may attend the 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. show. Each show lasts approximately 30 minutes and is limited to 15 children.

Children in grades 1 or 2 may attend the 1 p.m. show, and children in grades 3 and higher may attend the 3 p.m. show.  Each show lasts 1 hour and is limited to 30 children.

The program is free for museum members.  For non-members, the program is free with regular admission to the museum ($8 for adults, $5 for children ages 4 to 12, free to FHSU students with ID).

Registration deadline is May 5.  Each family in attendance will receive a recording of the calls of Kansas frogs and toads, made possible by Joseph T. Collins and the Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks.
