Hays Symphony Orchestra presents annual Holiday Pops concert

The Hays Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Hays State University Department of Music will present the annual Holiday Pops concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, in the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center on the FHSU campus.

Proceeds go towards music scholarships for FHSU students and to support the Hays Symphony Guild.

Guest artists include Dr. Joseph Perniciaro (pronounced pear-nih-CHAIR-oh), assistant professor of music; Brad Dawson, assistant professor of music; the Fort Hays Singers; and the Hays High Plains Barbershop Chorus.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students and seniors, and free for children under 12. Tickets are available at the FHSU Memorial Union Student Service Center, Midwest Music, Wal-Mart service desk, FHSU music department office and at the door the evening of the concert.
