FHSU students to attend KATM Annual Conference

Six students from Fort Hays State University recently attended the annual Kansas Association of Teachers of Mathematics Conference in Liberal.

KATM is the statewide professional mathematics education association in Kansas. It is devoted to improving mathematics teaching and learning in public and private schools.

K-12 teachers, college instructors and potential math teachers attended this year's KATM, "Multiplying Math Success."

Students attending were Lacey Wegner, Beloit senior; Jason Crist, Bennington senior; Kayla Winkel, Glen Elder senior; Hays seniors James Hauck, Sherri Quinn, Lance Sharp, Lyndsay Dorzweiler, Aubrey Hauptman and Michael Wahlmeier; Will Burns, Norton senior; Corinna Bussen, Sharon Springs senior; and Heath Ostmeyer, Quinter senior.
