Public astronomy viewings offered at FHSU on Tomanek Hall roof
09/24/2009

The Fort Hays State University Department of Physics and the Astronomy Club are offering free public astronomy viewings from 9:30 to 11 p.m. on clear Wednesdays and Thursdays on the roof of Tomanek Hall on the FHSU campus.

The viewings will take place on the mechanical penthouse of Tomanek Hall and should allow viewers to see galaxies, nebulae and star clusters. Viewings will take place as long as six stars can be seen, and there is no pending cloud development.
