09/15/2009

The Hispanic/Latin American Heritage Celebration continues at Fort Hays State University with the intelligence and sharp wit of Patrick Candelaria's stand up comedy from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, in the Cody Commons in the Memorial Union on the FHSU campus.

Named Texas' Top Latino Comic by HISPANIC magazine, Candelaria aggressively tackles today's topics and delivers his message with energy, humor and an excellent broadcast voice. He has performed at various colleges and universities across the United States, at the Riviera Comedy Club in Las Vegas, and for Telemundo Television's "Loco Comedy Jam." He has also performed for troops overseas in Bosnia, Macedonia, Croatia, Japan and Korea.

The show is free to FHSU students, faculty and staff, and $2 for the public.
