Management and marketing faculty members present at Oklahoma symposium

Several members of the Fort Hays State University faculty made presentations recently at the 2009 Southwest Business Symposium at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.

Dr. Anthony Gabel, assistant professor of management and marketing, presented "Delegating Authority to Make Medical and Financial Decisions: Gauging Student and Parent Awareness of Powers of Attorney."

Dr. Wally Guyot, professor of management and marketing, and Dr. Robert Meier, professor of information networking and telecommunications, presented "Engaging Students with Interactive Technology."

Michael Martin, instructor of management and marketing, presented "Service quality in the Power Tool Industry: An Investigation of Customer Experiences."

Dr. Jerry Stark, professor of management and marketing, presented "Changes in Student Debt at a Midwest University."

According to the Web site, "the Southwest Business Symposium is an interdisciplinary, non-profit conference committed to the advancements in business administration and economics through objective research for scholars and professional and business students."
