Frogapalooza returns to Sternberg Museum

The All-Star Kansas Frog and Toad Choir is returning to Fort Hays State University's Sternberg Museum of Natural History for its second Frogapalooza concert on Saturday, May 9.

"Every spring and summer night, the local ponds, streams, creeks and water-filled road-side ditches erupt with a thunderous chorus of frog and toad calls," said Brian Bartels, museum educator. "These croaky critters may be small, but the songs they produce can be heard from far away during the spring and summer nights."

Children ages 4 through 12 are invited to the museum for a meet-and-greet and a chance to sing along with frogs and toads. The choir will play two shows, one at 11 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
