Works by Fort Hays State University's Gordon K. Sherman, associate professor of art, appeared in five recent art exhibitions, including two at the Hunterdon Museum of Art in Clinton, NJ.

At the 49th Annual Hunterdon Museum of Art National Print Exhibition, two of Sherman's prints received the Lynd Ward Purchase Award for the museum's Ann Steel Marsh Print Collection. Two of his prints from that exhibition were collected by Adam Kaufman, a print collector, of Princeton, NJ.

Sherman also exhibited in the Hunterdon's national hand-made book exhibition, The Elements: Creative Energy -- Earth, Fire, Air, Water.

His work was also displayed in the Annual Art Faculty Exhibition in the Moss-Thorns Gallery of Art in Picken Hall on the FHSU campus; in Celebration: Janie Urban Memorial Invitational Exhibition in the Hays Arts Council Gallery; and in the Kansas City Artist Coalition's 23rd Annual River Market Regional Exhibition, Kansas City, MO.
