A ceramics workshop is planned for April 15 to 17, in the Fort Hays State University ceramics lab, Rarick Hall, room 123. The workshop, led by Malcolm Davis, will cover Japanese shino glazing.

The workshop includes demonstrations and hands-on participation in glazing, loading the kiln and firing. The workshop fee is $100 and provides the opportunity to glaze and fire up to 10 pieces. Artists must bring their own bisque (unfired) ceramic pieces.

Davis will also hold a lecture from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 in Rarick Hall, room 114. The lecture is free and open to the public
