The Research Environment Committee at Fort Hays State University will hold the fifth annual Research and Creative Activities Week (RACAW) April 20 to 25.
"During the RACAW celebration, presentations of faculty and student research provide an opportunity for learning about colleagues' work and stimulating productivity," said Dr. Janett M. Naylor, assistant professor of psychology and chair of the committee. "I would like to thank all the faculty who have supported this great event from the beginning and those now joining in the fun."
Events may be integrated into classroom activities by having students present during RACAW for class credit, providing incentives for attending relevant sessions, attending events instead of class, or having students attend events and write reactions to the information presented.
Participating students will showcase their work and prizes will be given at a university-wide poster session in the Fort Hays Ballroom of the Memorial Union on April 21.
For more information or to get involved, contact Naylor by phone (785) 628-5857 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
"I would love to help you get involved!" said Naylor.
