For the second year in a row at Fort Hays State University, “Feeding Frenzy” will offer students a break from the stress of preparing for finals with a menu of pancakes, starting at 11 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, in the Memorial Union. It will continue until 1 a.m.
“It serves as a good stress reliever,” said Robert Duffy, coordinator of the Drug Alcohol Wellness Network. “We had about 370 students show up last year, despite bad weather, and we are hoping for the same turnout this year.”
Duffy also said this is a good opportunity for students and faculty to interact outside a classroom.
Choices of toppings will include sugar-free syrups, fruit and chocolate chips.
Sponsoring the event is Student Affairs, the Memorial Union, Forsyth Library, Residential Life, the Residence Hall Association, Chartwells and the Kelly Center.
