Art by FHSU students, faculty and professionals on sale Saturday

Students and faculty from Fort Hays State University and some professional artists will sell their art pieces on Saturday, Nov. 8, on the first floor of Rarick Hall on the FHSU campus.  The sale will be from 9 a.m. to noon and will feature paintings, prints, ceramic and sculpture pieces, drawings, photographs, and handmade books.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping for one-of-a kind gifts,” said Karrie Simpson Voth, associate professor of art, design and graphics at FHSU.

Also at the sale will be Drive By Press (, an organization that prints T-shirts from original wood artist blocks in its mobile print studio. Its purpose is to educate and promote the growth and democratization of art through prints.
