The Fort Hays State University Department of Music will present a Chamber Choir Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the First United Methodist Church, 305 W. 7th, in Hays.
The concert will feature the FHSU Women's Chorale, conducted by Terry Crull, instructor of music, and accompanied by Pam McGowne, program specialist, and the Vocal Arts Ensemble, with Crull as artistic director.
The women's chorale will perform "O Sleep, Fond Fancy" by Thomas Morley, "Cordoba" by Ernesto Leuona, "My True Love Hath My Heart" by Timothy Michael Rolls, "The Fashions Change" by Jean Burger, and "I Whistle A Happy Tune" by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Songs the ensemble plans to perform include "Wondrous Love" by Paul Christiansen, "Comfort, Comfort Ye My People" by Claude Goudimel, "Take Here My Heart" by Thomas Weelkes, "Alleluia" by Randall Thompson, and "Ain' Got Time To Die" by Hall Johnson.
Tickets are $4 for children and seniors and $6 for adults. Admission is free for FHSU students with their TigerCard.
