Sixth annual Campus-Community Fair to be hosted by FHSU

Fort Hays State University will host the sixth annual Campus-Community Service Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in the FHSU Memorial Union Ballroom.

The fair is intended to educate the campus about and connect faculty with Hays community organizations, to develop long-term, service-learning projects and to provide an opportunity for students to explore volunteer opportunities. More than 30 organizations will be represented.

Faculty will learn about course development funds available to create a service-learning course for the spring semester.

Sponsors include the FHSU Service-Learning Committee, the Center for Civic Leadership, Tigers in Service and the Ellis County United Way.

Refreshments will be provided.
