Several people recently joined the Fort Hays State University Foundation Board of Trustees.
The board of trustees is a group of FHSU supporters who help govern the policies, procedures and investment strategies of the FHSU Foundation. The 51 trustees represent a broad geographical area, from the east coast to the west coast, and come from a variety of professions.
The new trustees:
Jeff Copper, a 1977 FHSU graduate, Hays, owner of Copper Insurance Agency and former Hays middle school teacher.
Mike Durall, a 1970 graduate, Boulder, Colo., a freelance writer and non-profit consultant and owner of Common Wealth Consulting Group.
John Francis, 1981, Great Bend, president of Francis Financial Services.
Dennis Gaschler, 1973, Protem, Mo., retired executive director of Dillons Stores.
Van Hoisington, Austin, Texas, president and senior investment officer of Hoisington Investment Management Co.
Loren Pepperd, 1968, Manhattan, real estate broker and appraiser with G&A Real Estate.
Thomas Gaschler, 1975, Denver, Colo., national sales and marketing manager and head of product development for Atrix International.
Andrew Rupp, 1977, Hays, executive vice president of Insurance Planning Inc. of Hays.
