HAYS, KS -- Karen Trible, assistant professor of nursing at Fort Hays State University, was recently notified that she has passed the examination to become certified nationally as a pediatric nurse.

In order to maintain certification as a CPN, she will have to validate continuing education hours or engage in a specified amount of pediatric practice annually.
